On 05.07.2021, a celebration was held at the Union of Bulgarian Architects on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the birth of Prof. Dr. Arch. Stefan Popov.

The event was organized by Dr. Arch. Aneta Slavova, former alumni of his design studio PAUSS, from the Bulgarian University of Applied Sciences, where the professor created the Program for the Opening of the Architecture Major, based on extensive professional and pedagogical experience for decades before and after. An exhibition was opened with the realizations of young architects from all over the world and in our country.

A book dedicated to the work of the Professor was presented for the first time – “Alternative Strategy for Architectural Design – Design Studio PAUSS”, authored by Dr. Arch. Aneta Slavova. The meeting of different generations of the Professor’s students, his friends and relatives, sparked many memories and professional comments about our guild and the future of Architectural education, more precisely about its foundation – Architectural Design.
